Can someone please tell why these shows have so many folks watching? What is the attraction?
Bravo now has seven different versions of the popular “Real Housewives of…” reality series, including versions in Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Beverly Hills, and the latest, Miami. And out of all of the “Housewives” shows, according to recent stats and figures, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is doing the best as far as ratings are concerned.
Last Sunday’s episode gave the show its best numbers ever, at 3.43 million viewers. Apparently these recent numbers for Season 3 of the show are much better than last season, which saw about 2.9 million viewers per week. This has a lot to do with the show moving from Monday nights to Sunday nights this season.
As of right now, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” remains the top franchise among the six “Housewives” that have aired so far (“RHO Miami” begins airing this March). RHOA airs its season finale tonight at 10 pm, followed by two weeks of “reunion” footage shot at the Georgia Aquarium.
Sounds like everybody really likes Nene, Sheree, Kim, Kandi, Cynthia and the rest of the Atlanta Housewife gang! Either that, or they like the drama they all bring.
